WIP - Pine Grosbeak ....miniature

Pine Grosbeak - 2.5" x 3" acrylic

Well here it is. I can't decide what else to do with it. I covered one clump of berries, but that was to be expected. I did slip it in the frame, and am not sure what I think of it. The frame is quite "heavy" but this painting was done to size of this particular frame....I will look at it again tomorrow and see what I think about it. I haven't put the acrylic sealent on it yet, and that tends to make the colours "pop". Maybe I'll like it better then.

Leola, it is beautiful, I love the red. What we call evening grossbeak here are not red however so now I have to go dig out my bird book.

Thank you Marlene. I fixed the title...I have no idea why I keep calling it an evening grosbeak (the more common I guess) It is a Pine Grosbeak....thanks for the heads up!
