It's that time of year again. You can look out across the fields and see the lights of the combines as they harvest well past dark. Birds gather at the lake every night as they get ready to fly south. It's going down to +4 to give us a warning that frost can happen any night now. And with the crisp cool nights comes the harvest moon.
This is a 6" x 4" acrylic (OSWOA - original small work of art) painted on sturdy canvas paper. It is listed on Ebay here.

It seems like only 2 weeks ago that you all thawed out up there! And the leaves are changing already? I'm here belly aching because today was the 1st day of school, signifying the end of summer. Our grass is still green, our trees are green and growing, there are no harvest moons, apples are still plentiful on the trees....I have nothing to mourn!
Deb you kill me LOL
Hi ! This painting is simply gorgeous! Love the moon, and all the colors in this painting. It's perfect!
Beautiful, and the colors are great.
Another wonderful painting! You mention birds flying south, a sight I haven't noticed in years. I have to get out more.
