I am trying to learn to paint using a lighter hand. Usually I just glob on the paint and if it's thick....that's the way it is. I like the look of watercolor, but know that you can't "glob" it on. So today I watered down my acrylics and tried to keep it "light". I can see the potential in this technique, but am not sure that I have the patience (or the attention span)to think through the process before I put it to paper. It seems very unforgiving and if you make a slip up, it's there to glare at everyone forever.
