I added the blossoms tonight and gave the birds feet LOL. I am about done. It's extremely cold (-48 with windchill tonight) They will be at the feeders in the morning no matter what the temperature. I always make sure there is plenty out there for them to give them energy. They come to the feeder even while I'm adding food. Beautiful, Southie! I thought of you today as it was a 14 F windchill here (so school was delayed 1 hr.)
This painting turned out wonderful and I love the story you told us about your birds. Makes it even more special.
