Magpies - painted on 146 year old ledger paper

 It all started out with a sheet of ledger paper that I was given......a perfect size for a 5" x 7" painting....No books were harmed with this painting.....I was given one random sheet from a store ledger.

 I did just a little background painting

 Then I added a tree......living or dead?

 Then came the Magpies.....

 Started with the black.......

 added some white.......

 then finished with some colour because I'm sure they aren't perfectly black and white...although the ones around here are so nervous you never really get a good look at them....

The subject for Theme Week for February at the ACEO Group on Ebay is "Winter Wonderland".  I like painting winter"scapes" so submitted 3 this month.  All have been listed on Ebay here
